Every normal player receives the same secret word. One player secretly becomes the SHARK and receives a hint instead of the word. Never show your secret screen to anyone else.
There are exactly three clue rounds. When it is your turn, say one clue out loud without saying the secret word or making it painfully obvious. The SHARK must bluff like they know the word.
Offline clue turns follow the game's rotating order based on the previous SHARK. Online, the host sees the full turn line-up and each player gets a synced turn on their own device.
Pay attention to every clue. A normal player should know the word but avoid giving it away. The SHARK has to stay vague enough to survive while sounding convincing.
After the clue rounds, Every player votes indivisually for the player they suspect after discussing with the team or as per their will. Your vote stays private until the reveal. Choose carefully — the group must identify the actual SHARK.
The host reveals the result online, while offline the game reveals the nominated player and the real SHARK. If the group catches them, the bluff fails, Every Player get +1 points and the SHARK gets 0 points. If not, the SHARK escapes and gets +2 points the remaining players gets 0 points.
Scores carry forward between games. The host can start another game when allowed. If the host themselves was the SHARK, replay is locked so they cannot use the replay button to alter that game's secret-role outcome.
